The exhibition "Triple Exposure" by Varda Carmeli presents three series of photographs:

Beijing - An Image About to Change - An inside look at scenes and lifestyles in the ancient, traditional quarters called hutongs that have survived up to the present day and a moment befor the change has occurred.

Placards - An outside view of reality and fantasy images imported into a Beijing under transformation.
Whispering Smoke - Photographs of mystic traditional ceremonies which were taken during the Semana Santa (Holy Week) in Guatemala (Chichicastenango, Antigua).

Varda Carmeli (Born in Israel) is a multidisciplinary artist (painting, installation and photography).
In recent years she has focused on photographic projects, combining subjective documentary, street snapshots and innovative photography.
